Tis The Season

I love putting up Christmas decorations. Every year we put on the Christmas music full blast and make some hot chocolate. Ellie had lots of fun, even though she had Tanner following after her taking off all the ornaments she had just hung.
Ellie is trying to hang the ornaments as high as she can. That poor star in Tanner's hand is his latest victim. He's not as innocent as he looks.

Ellie wanted to know where we got each ornament. It was fun remembering the reasons we had each one. My favorite bunch of ornaments are my Carl's Junior Stars. I have six. When I was younger I had to have them, so my mom helped me collect all of them. The first Christmas after I got married she sent them home with me. They are perfect ornaments for the bottom of the tree... They can't brake... well hopefully Tanner won't figure out how to destroy them.

Brian is being attacked by the kids. Go Ellie! You get him! I think Tanner's been caught, oh my!

No story, I just like this picture.

The Finished product. Oh... She always dresses that way. Didn't you know her real name is CinderEllie?

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I am thankful for my beautiful family.

Thanksgiving at the Barnes'.

Here we are at Grandma and Grandpa Barnes' house. The party consisted of grandma and grandpa. My cousin Kevin. Breanna and her three boys and of course my two little rascals and I. Brian was at work and the Hunt family has ditched us for their Utah family. We had lots of good food and the best pecan pie (I made it).

The kid table, one of life's greatest inventions.

Sam and I decided it would be fun to take a picture of ourselves, turned out quite lovely.

Tanner is enjoying his Thanksgiving diet of punch and bread.

Caden and Grandma posing for Ellie the photographer, hey look she got their heads!

Breanna is making a detailed menu of our holiday feast.

Ellie snuck into Grandma and Sam's photo.

Kevin is trying to ignore the camera, he hates being in pictures.

I am Thankful I got my good looks from my mom, don't you agree?

Need I say more?

Poor Brendan... I am thankful I do not feel the way Brendan looks.

Turkey Day with the Humann's

First stop for Thanksgiving.... Grandma and Grandpa Humann's. We gathered together to eat at 11:00. Brian was able to enjoy this lovely feast before he had to run off to work. Greg took little time out of work to make sure we didn't eat all the turkey, or pie. Everyone was there, with a few new editions. We had cousin Emily from Utah and Sandy's brother Eli. Here we all are enjoying the food.

Here are the Humann cousins. I was able, all by myself, to get these four to cooperate for this picture... I
rock! I am thankful for these cute kids.

Here is the Netzley Duo, Nick and Eileen. Eileen made very yummy rolls. I am thankful for yummy rolls!

Emily is holding Shane, while Chad tries not to look like a dork.

Ellie is receiving a hug from her cousin Ethan.... Awe....

Ellie and Tanner with their uncle Chad.

Lost in the Clouds

Ellie misses her Kaleigh and wants to know when Kaleigh is going to come back down from the sky. Ellie says, "Kaleigh flew up high". According to Ellie Kaleigh is not in Utah, but still up in the sky.

Metal Heads

Hey, what are you two doing with my mixing bowls?

Tanner showed Ellie what great hats metal mixing bowls can make. I guess anything is better than wearing Ellie's princess crowns around, maybe he thinks they are little more masculine.

Look at those Smiles!

Anything can be fun with a little imagination!

Ellie can make anything look fashionable.

Tanner brought me this pot, so I could join in on the fun too.

My Second Half Marathon

This is my Uncle Dan, he ran the whole Marathon!!! He kicks butt! I'm going to run the St George Marathon with him next year. Well, he'll probably finish a couple hours before me... But It'll be GREAT!

Eileen was my running partner this time arond. She did awesome, it was her first. Go Eileen!

I beat my time by about 14 minutes this time!!! I am very excited about that. My next goal is to be able to run a half in a 10 minute mile...

This was taken at one of the water stations. I think we had just passed mile marker 6.

This is us crossing the Finish line!! Yay, we did it!!!

Happy Halloween!

Trick or Treating at Sierra Vista Mall. This was our first stop. After dinner at El Pollo Loco we headed off to Grandma Diane's! We got lots of yummy candy from her and her neighbor's!

Ellie was my pretty princess, doesn't she make a beautiful Cinderella! Ellie had so much fun Trick or Treating this year, especially after she decided that it wasn't scary!

Here is my cute little Bumble Bee. Tanner had so much fun eating lots of chocolate. He didn't need a bag, he just ate as he went!

Birthday Girl

Ellie was so excited to have a Princess Party, she helped me pick out some decorations and dressed up as Cinderella. We rented a Princess Bounce House for her and she absolutely loved it. She bounced from morning till night. Kaleigh and Mason came dressed up as Belle and Sleeping Beauty. All the boys wore crowns, although we had some interesting prince costumes. I think Brendan was a Jedi prince and Ethan M was a power ranger prince. The party turned out great and I think all the kids had a blast!

Ellie dedided she didn't like to have Happy Birthday sung to her.
