On Monday the 13
th we left for Monterrey to go camping and deep sea fishing. We went earlier than everyone else and found a great campsite. The campground we stayed in was small and quiet. Greg, Diane, Adam, Sandy, Ethan, and Shane met us there a few hours later. We stayed two nights. We had a lot of fun camping, fishing and playing. The best part was cooking some of the fish for dinner on Tuesday night. It was DELICIOUS!
Brian and I on the boat.

I was the only first timer of the group, everyone else had been deep sea fishing before. Sandy and I kicked butt! We had the best luck! Brian got sick towards the end and quit fishing for a little while, but came back strong after her felt better. Adam caught a few fish before he got real sick and ended up staying in the cabin the rest of the time. Greg kept catching little bitty fish, but finally started catching bigger ones at the end. We went home with our limit, which was 10 fish per a person! 50 fish!

Sandy, Joel, Brian and Don after a great day of fishing! Don and Joel Fowler decided to join us on the fishing trip when they heard we were going.

This was my first catch of the day and my Biggest!

This guy was awesome! He helped me out a lot! He also
flayed our fish for us on our way back. He just stood their cutting up the fish without ever swaying! While the rest of us had a difficult time walking around! This is mine and Brian's
pile of fish.

The Fisherman's Wharf
Eileen and Nick met us Monday night and went to dinner with us at the Wharf. Nick knows the owner of the Old Fisherman's Grotto, so we went there for some Clam Chowder. We ended up getting free appetizer's because of Nick, which was yummy calamari and
artichoke!

All the girls
received yellow roses when they left the
restaurant.
