Nathan's Blessing

This morning was Nathan's blessing day, it was also Chad's mission farewell. It worked out great to have them the same day and during the same meeting. Nathan was a very good baby for his blessing and his daddy gave him a very sweet and beautiful blessing. The blessing circle was made up of Papa Leo, Grandpa Greg, Great Grandpa Markham, Great Uncle Lynn, Uncle Danny, Uncle Nick, Uncle Chad, Uncle Adam, and DeLynn Sapp. It was wonderful seeing all of them up there locked in circle around my new special man. Nathan is such a handsome little man that has already stolen my heart. I love him so much and am so grateful that he is apart of our family.

After church everyone came to our house for lunch. Brian barbecued tri-tip that turned out awesome (just like always)! Our family chipped in by bringing our side dishes, which were also delicious and I made dessert. It was a great lunch and I think everyone enjoyed eating the good food and talking with one another.

After most of the guests headed for home the Netzley's decided to hangout for a bit. Ellie and Tanner love their Uncle Nick.... Check out this picture. Tanner climbed onto Nick's back, stood up and before anyone could say anything.... he jumped over Nick's head! You can see the surprised look on Nick's face.
Then Tanner got to play with his daddy's helicopter... one of Tanner's favorite things to do.
He also loves to play with these quilt pieces that Aunt Eileen is making for her soon to be born nephew from Nick's side. First he lays out all the pieces on the floor. Then he goes and gets a picture of what the quilt will look like. Then he sits their and points to a tractor in the picture and at one on the floor finding all the matching pieces. Tanner is going to be very sad when she finishes the quilt and doesn't get to play with the pieces anymore.
